Our family has been actively involved in preserving river life for over 200 years. The original family homestead is the oldest remaining house in Cochecton, an historic landmark dating back to 1812.
Over generations, our family added to this by acquiring adjoining riverside properties and homes to create what is jokingly referred to by us as “the compound”. The joy we have taken over the years in gathering together for exploratory trips and holiday events naturally encouraged us to develop workshops for the public. Our respective careers- in wellness, fitness, agriculture, cuisine, design and the arts- have afforded us the pleasure of combining our talents to offer our guests a diverse, well-rounded and truly New York experience. We look forward to hosting you!
